Marconi Beam

This ground-breaking, mega-development combining middle-income housing, industrial and low-income housing was a public private sector partnership between Rabie and Cavcor on the one hand and the Milnerton local authority on the other. The hugely successful project was endorsed by then President Nelson Mandela who stated: “Here at Marconi Beam we see the RDP at work. What is happening here is the product of the kind of partnership which is needed to transform our country.”
