Burgundy Estate gears up to welcome first retirement residents

Burgundy Estate’s gears up to welcome first retirement residents

Miguel Rodrigues, Director at Rabie, explains that the residents of the houses will receive their keys from the end of June “We’re excited to see all the elements come together at this stage of the project.  Our first houses are receiving their finishing touches, as is the Lifestyle Centre: the heart and soul of the estate.”

Phase one of Oasis Life Burgundy Estate consists of 24 houses, of which there are only 8 left for sale, all will be complete and ready to move in by end June, and 30 apartments that will be completed in September.  Four apartment types and six house types were developed to offer a variety of lay-outs and different entry price levels.

“Our agents will be able to walk potential purchasers through the Lifestyle Centre, new furnished show house and furnished show apartment from 1 July.” continues Rodrigues.  “By appointment, visitors can ensure that they can safely enjoy an exclusive glimpse of the lifestyle, quality and security that Oasis Life offers. We will be inviting larger groups to our open days later in the year.”

Oasis Life’s retirement philosophy is based on four pillars: lifestyle security, physical security, financial security and healthcare security.  In line with the last mentioned, residents can rest assured that in addition to primary medical care that is available on site, all homes come standard with an emergency call system. “Both services operate on a 24/7 basis, ensuring that residents receive the necessary care when required.” explains Haupt.  “Should a resident be immobile for any reason or require specialised care, home-based medical care is also available through our service provider.  This means that you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home to receive expert care.”

Convenience is key in the Oasis Life estate with a beautiful Lifestyle Centre at the centre of its lifestyle. A restaurant, coffee bar and sunny deck are part of its first phase, future phases include a gym and indoor heated swimming pool.

Within the greater Burgundy Estate, residents are part of a multi-generational precinct that includes two convenience shopping centres. Furthermore, Burgundy Estate offers kilometres of walking and cycling routes, a mashie golf course, tennis courts and a sports clubhouse.  “You can remain part of your greater family if your children and grandchildren reside in Burgundy Estate, while enjoying your own independence, security and top-notch benefits of being a resident in Oasis Life.” says Haupt.

Houses are available from R1.6-million for a one-bedroom and from R1.14-million for a one-bedroom apartment, all VAT inclusive.
