A municipal electrical substation in Ratanga Junction blew this morning leaving the theme park without electricity.

City of Cape Town electricians and private contractors are busy isolating and repairing the damage but it is clear the park will not be able to open today.

Communications Manager Maggie Rowley said they apologised to their valued guests for any inconvenience caused by this unfortunate incident.

“We will keep guests updated with progress on the Ratanga website.”
