Springfield, a new development of 72 townhouses each on its own erf and with its own private garden, is to be launched by Rabie Property Group at Burgundy Estate Cape Town this week.
The R145m development will include 16 two bed, two bath simplexes, 35 three bed, two bath simplex homes and 21 three bed 2 ½ bathroom duplexes, many offering stunning mountain views.
All two bedroom townhouses will have single garages with room for a second vehicle to park in front of the garage while all three bedroom units will boast double garages. There will also be generous parking on site for visitors.
Sizes, including balconies and terraces but excluding garages, will range from 93 square metres to 129 square metres with units priced from R1 675 000 to R2 315 000, VAT inclusive.
All homes will have fitted kitchens with gas hobs and built in cupboards in all the bedrooms.
The development, which has been designed by award-winning architect, Giselle Vanderstraeten, is being built on a site close to many of Burgundy Estate’s amenities including a school and the Burgundy Square shopping centre, which is anchored by Checkers.
The development will be fully enclosed with a mix of solid walling and palisade fencing on the perimeter.
Security will be enhanced by access control and an internal centralised play park will be provided for communal enjoyment and allow children to kick a ball.
In addition, Springfield will offer all purchasers Fibre To The Home (FTTH) providing access to fast-speed internet connectivity.
Miguel Rodrigues, Development Director for Rabie, said the entire development had been designed and orientated to maximise north-facing elements.
Brian Usher, Sales Director of Property World, the exclusive sales agents for Rabie’s new developments at Burgundy Estate, said Springfield will add an exciting new product to the Burgundy mix.
“There has been very strong pre-launch interest in these freehold townhouses so we would advise interested parties to contact us soonest so as to avoid disappointment.”
Springfield is the third development to be undertaken at Burgundy Estate by Rabie Property Group since it joined forces with Nedbank 18 months ago.
It follows Vermont, a development of 190 one, two and three bedroom apartments which has been acquired in its entirety at cost of R200m by a private investor for rental stock, and Zarina, a development of 181 apartments and townhouses of which 152 units have been sold for a total of R167million to date.
Construction of Vermont is being phased with final completion scheduled for April next year while construction of Zarina is due for completion in September 2017.
Work on Springfield is due to start in the first quarter of 2017 with completion to be phased between Spring 2017 and April 2018.
