Dozens of speakers address learners at Sinenjongo’s 2012 Careers Day

Students at Careers DaySpeaker at Careers DayStudents at Careers DayStudents at Careers DayStudents at Careers DayRabie sponsored and helped organise the annual Careers Day at Sinenjongo High School in Joe Slovo Park which took place last Saturday.

A diverse range of speakers from doctors to beauty therapists, from Personal Assistants and chefs to accountants and scientists gave of their time to share their careers with the learners and to field their questions.  There was a great turnout from Grade 9 to Grade 12 learners in spite of the bitterly cold and rainy weather.

A survey undertaken at the end of the day elicited very positive feedback from the learners with numerous suggestions on which additional careers they would like to see being covered.
