Miguel Rodrigues, who heads up Rabie’s residential developments at Century City and Burgundy Estate Cape Town, has been appointed a director of the group.
Miguel began his career in property development and construction in 1998 in London where he worked for 10 years before returning to South Africa and joining Rabie as a project manager in 2008.
Since then he has been responsible for some of the group’s major residential developments including Waterstone, Quays, Ashton Park, Manhattan and Mayfair.
Going forward, Miguel will continue to oversee Rabie’s residential portfolio, both development and investment.
Miguel’s appointment, follows Greg Deans stepping down as a director of Rabie after 12 years with the group. While Greg has given up his executive functions to pursue other interests, he will remain a shareholder and will act as a consultant for the Group for the next year to effect a smooth transition.
We are sad to see him go, but we wish him every success for his future and thank him for his very valuable contribution to Rabie for more than a decade.
