Rabie won at 2022’s South African Property Owners’ Association’s Annual Conference, hosted in Sun City, North West Province. Century City’s new gem, Bridgewater, was awarded the SAPOA Award for Innovative Excellence in the Mixed-Use category.

Bridgewater is a uniquely integrated family of buildings perfectly positioned between the buzz of Century City Square and the serenity of the new Ratanga Park, with 5ha park area and a 1.7ha water body, connecting with Century City’s existing canals.
An 80-room boutique hotel is flanked by 122 apartments, overlooking Ratanga Park, its design inspired by Amsterdam’s multi-coloured narrow buildings on the banks of canals. Block 2 is a selection of six double-volume studios with large mezzanine floors and a distinct industrial look and feel, neighbouring the back of Century City Conference Centre.
The sunny central courtyard guides one down to a piazza, forming the outside area of Gusto Urban Italian restaurant and leading to the entrance to Century City Bridgewater Hotel. The ground floor retail section further includes an estate agency and a Bootlegger Coffee Company spilling out and connecting with the street. The entire development is anchored on two basements providing 380 secure undercover bays.[
This award is Rabie’s second SAPOA Award in the Mixed-Use category. Rabie was awarded the first award of its kind, the prestigious SAPOA Property Development Award for Innovative Excellence in the mixed use category in 2017 for Century City Urban Square.
