Ratanga Junction theme park, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Rabie Property Group, recently held a special fundraiser for the Jag Sports and Education Foundation at the theme park raising R93,365 for the organization.

Over the park’s peak season in December and January, three times Comrades winner and Century City brand ambassador, Vladimir Kotov was sponsored to run in the park with R5 of every kilometer run going to the charity.

Over 20 days, Vladimir ran over 600m on a treadmill raising a total of R24,430. This he accomplished in just two hours a day running at an average speed of 15kph.

Ratanga also sponsored guests to challenge Vladimir raising an additional R68,935 for Jag.

Ratanga has extended its Summer Season due to popular demand and is open over weekends through to March 20.
